Audi e-tron EV Charging & Range

The e-tron sports a 95.0-kWh lithium ion battery with an EPA-rated driving range of 204 miles. The e-tron’s charging time is one of the fastest on the market, as the vehicle can charge at a rate up to 11 kW from a level 2 charger and 155 kW from a DC fast charger. The e-tron’s large battery means e-tron drivers benefit highly from a powerful level 2 charging station at home: with a level 2 EV charger like the JuiceBox 40, the e-tron SUV battery will take around 9 hours to charge fully. By comparison, it could take about 90 hours of continuous charging to charge the battery with a level 1 EV charging cable.

Level 3 DC fast charging: CCS

The Audi e-tron has industry-leading DC fast charging capabilities, and charges at a rate of up to 155 kW, which allows the charging cable to recharge the Audi e-tron up to 80% in about half an hour. The Audi e-tron uses the SAE Combined Charging Connector (CCS) for level 3 DC fast charging.
